With your consent, we collect and update personal and health information—including your name, date of birth, contact details, health history, and treatment records—for the purpose of providing safe and effective healthcare. We may also collect relevant information from other health professionals or sources, with your consent or as permitted by law.
We collect limited personal and financial information to process payments, maintain accurate records, and meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Use and Disclosure:
Your personal health information will be used only for purposes directly related to your care, professional record keeping, quality improvement, and legal compliance. It will not be shared with anyone without your consent, except where required by law (e.g., court order, public health reporting).

Your Rights:
You have the right to access and request corrections to your health record, or to withdraw consent for certain uses and disclosures (subject to legal or professional exceptions). You may do so at any time by contacting MuscleIQ.

Professional Responsibilities:
We take all reasonable steps to protect your information against theft, loss, or unauthorized access. Your records are stored securely and retained for a minimum of ten (10) years, as required by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Regular audits are conducted to ensure compliance with our privacy policy and PHIPA.
